Junior Squad

The Junior squad runs a full calendar of local races throughout the winter and into the summer. The programme is progressive and structured to build in volume and intensity as rowers become more experienced, with training taking place during the week as well as at weekends.

For those that show commitment and ability there are opportunities to compete at national and international level. Juniors at Eton Excelsior has previously competed at The National Schools Regatta, Henley Women’s Regatta and Henley Royal Regatta. We have also had rowers represent England and Great Britain at international competition.

The Junior squad is a fun and welcoming environment that also prides itself on having a competitive atmosphere where the young rowers can push themselves to be the best they can be.
