EERC’s boathouse is on the banks of the river Thames on the outskirts of Windsor. It is next door to Windsor Marina (down stream), the Oakley Court Hotel (up stream) and just opposite Dorney Lake (the venue for the 2012 Olympic rowing events)
We row all year round (conditions permitting!) on an excellent and picturesque stretch of the river between Boveney Lock (down stream) and Bray Lock (up stream). The great Olympian rower, Sir Matt Pinsent, rowed on the same stretch when he was a student at Eton! He has also trained and competed at Dorney Lake where we, too, sometimes row.
