Coaches
EERC provides free coaching to all adult and junior squads with dedicated coaches for each squad. We also have a club wide training programme for both on the water, ergo and cross training. Members looking to compete follow the club wide training programme while those who row recreationally may chose to follow a lighter version of the club programme. EERC is pleased to cater for all levels of rower, from those just starting out, to those returning to sport after a break, and those competing at the local or national level.

Our Current Coaches
Stu first joined ULBC as a rower in 2013 whilst studying for his BSc in Biomedical Sciences at St George's. After completing his Masters (St. Georges) and PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine (at Queen Mary), Stu joined the coaching team for the University of London in 2019. As a rower, Stu raced for ULBC in numerous regattas including the Temple Challenge Cup and Prince Albert campaigns, the great 2019 BUCS lightweight eight and winning BUCS coxless 4- in the same year, earning his white in his final year.
He joined Eton Excelsior as Head coach in September 2023.
