Saturday, July 18, 2009 Stars were the Womens IM3 4+ crew who have 3 wins so far this season. They progressed from ‘Novice’ at the start of the season and won their first event at Weybridge Ladies Regatta in early June by beating Molesey RC and Henley RC; on through ‘Intermediate 3’ with victories over Twickenham RC and Molesey RC at Richmond: and then, two outings later, up to ‘Intermediate 2’ after a convincing win over Cambridge University WBC at Molesey.
Guided and goaded by their vociferous, capable cox Karen Bevan this successful crew of Kirsty Watson, Hannah Gammie, Jennie Saunders and Mel Heathcote.
