Membership Forms

All members are required to complete and return a Membership form to the Club. Adult membership forms and fees are to be returned to Paula Jones (Membership Secretary) and Junior membership forms and fees to Al Horn (Junior Coordinator) at the EERC Boathouse. Cheques should be made out to EERC.

Please address any queries to eercmembership@gmail.com

NOTE: The trial membership is only on offer to new members who have previous rowing experience. This can be from one of EERC's learn to row courses or Pubs & Clubs Regatta or from another club or University. The aim is to give people with experience a taster of the club. If you do not have experience and would like to row with us please see the Learn to row or Pubs & Clubs pages of this website.

What other costs are there?

The other main costs are:

Clothing - as with any sport you can buy as little or as much specialist clothing as you like – a full range of rowing clothing in Club colours can be purchased from the Club kit shop. However, to compete for the club you do need to wear club colours and we would recommend purchasing a specialist lycra all in one. (these can be purchased via the club kit shop).

Regatta/Head Race entry fees - you will need to pay for entry in to races which usually cost around £7-10 per head per race, plus you may need to pay toward transport costs.

British Rowing membership – To compete in most Heads and Regattas you need to be a member of British Rowing the current annual cost of which is currently £45 - please see link to British Rowing website

Racking - If there is space in the Boat house, and you take the step of buying your own scull you will need to rent rack space in or outside the boat house. The annual cost varies depending upon location (see membership rates above). Racking is allocated by the Captain and all enquiries should be directed to him.
