Boathouse

Our purpose-built boathouse is situated on the River Thames adjacent to Windsor Marina. Owned by the Club it was completed in 2001 and is arranged on three levels.
The ground floor is where the boats and blades are stored (racked). There is one central pier of racking with additional racks along both walls. Two “up-and-over” roller doors open onto an open space sloping down to the two floating rafts for boating.
The middle floor,
served by a disabled lift and stairs, is where the club’s main facilities are located:
- Seperate large male and female changing rooms with showers and lockers
- Kitchen
- Club office
- Bar
- Toilets (male, female and disabled)
- Large open floor space for circuit training, weight training and meetings
The top floor, served just by stairs, is the Ergo room and an area for meetings.

Outside we have more boat racks, a sheltered concrete slipway into the river and two rafts for launching boats!
Car Parking - Ample parking is provided just as you enter the Club's main gates, at various points along the Private access road and also in front of the boat house.
Access & Security - Access to the Club's grounds is via 2 large blue gates. These are open during core hours but locked at all other times. The Boathouse itself is protected by a sophisticated alarm system which operates in non core hours. Members wanting access to the Club outside non core hours can request a swipe pass for the Boathouse. Requests should be made to the Captain who will seek approval from the Committee. There is a small deposit for the swipe cards.
